Week 2

July 19 – July 23

Climbing is in many ways an individualistic sport but in other ways, it requires strong team work skills.  In PRG Summer Camps, kids exercise skills such as clear and effective communication, cooperation, as well as creative and critical thinking on and off the wall.  This week campers particularly enjoyed the team building initiative “Alligator River”.  We learned that sometimes in order to work together well, everyone must carry out his or her specific task.  Ironic?  Yes.  Effective?  Super yes!

Week 1

July 12 – July 16

A lot of parents wonder: what do campers do other than rock climb at PRG Summer Camps? Well, this week campers were delighted by the Barn Nature Center of Doylestown’s Wildlife Program- an all new addition to PRG’s camp program. Campers shuffled around the gym like crabs during Miss Darby’s yoga class and even challenged their coaches to a game of hang tough! Way to kick off the season, week one campers!
