PRG VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMPS

A new summer experience is here!  PRG Virtual Summer Camp is a live, interactive and thoughtfully curated program hosted by our very own PRG Coaches.  Here at PRG, we know that socialization, play and learning are key components to a well-rounded summer and so we have developed a way to bring all  of that right to your home.

Campers can choose from 4 different themes throughtout the summer- all of which echo relative themes in climbing culture such as problem solving, natural education, self-sufficiency and FUN!

When campers register for a Virtual Summer Camp week at PRG, campers will have access to 2 live Zoom calls a day Monday through Friday plus a camp kit filled with supporting materials that will be mailed right to your door.

There are three age ranges for each VSC theme: 3-5 years old, 6-8 years old & 9-15 years old and each run at different times throughout the day.

PRG Virtual Summer Camp FAQ

To register online, find the program of your choice at the link above

You will be asked to either log in or Create a New Account.  When creating a new account, please do so using your child’s name, then you may select the date(s) of your choice and finish signing up.  If your child already has an account with us (with a valid email address), you will have the option to select from a list of similar names, or if you have already set up a user name and password, you may log in using those.

If you cannot find the program enrollment you are looking for:
At the top of the registration page make sure the Enrollments tab is selected.

Below that are several drop down boxes. From left to right those boxes determine the location, enrollment type and other specific program information that will allow you to search for the program of your choice.

Be sure the date is set the current date or the date of the program for which you are searching.

If there is more than one child registering for the same week and age range, only one sign up per household is necessary.

If children are registering for the same week but different age groups, they will each need to sign up at the per-week cost.

If you are signing up multiple children for different age groups, you can pay for all on one bill.  To do so, create an account for yourself (the parent) or log into your pre-existing account.  Next, select the button “Add Family Member” and enter the required information for each child you wish to register.  When you choose the program you wish to pay for, you will be given the option to select which child you are registering.

PRG coaches will email all participants 1-3 days before the scheduled Zoom session.  It is very important that we have your current email address on file under the participant signed up so that we can email you details prior to camp such as:

-“Zoom” meeting room ID and password.  PRG coaches will be using the platform “Zoom” at www.zoom.us.  This video conferencing program allows for:
—Participants to be muted/ unmuted, video camera on/ off
—Instructor screen sharing and/or interactive screen board enabled/ disabled
—A private conference room for only PRG community participants and employees to enter

-Any household materials that will be needed by the start of the next Zoom session (i.e. crayons, paper, scissors, etc.)

Computer and internet access is required since PRG coaches will be using the platform “Zoom” (www.zoom.us) to conduct Virtual Summer Camp sessions.  An enabled webcam/ microphone is optional for each participant however those who are able to speak to the instructor and peers as well as be seen will enjoy a more interactive experience.

A valid email address for a parent to use is also required since that will be the main mode of communication prior to camp.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in- most Virtual Summer Camp sessions will have a physical activity segment such as yoga or calisthenics.

An email will be sent to parents 1-3 days before the scheduled Virtual Summer Camp session to disperse the following information:

Virtual Summer Camp is $99 for one week (Monday through Friday) which includes 2 Zoom sessions a day and a camp kit filled with supporting materials and activities.

The 3-5 year old group is $59 for one week (Monday through Friday) with just 1 Zoom session a day and a camp kit.

PRG Members and Annual Pass holders save 20% on PRG Virtual Summer Camps!

Virtual Summer Camp is refundable up to one week before the scheduled program.  After that, a credit can be issued for the full amount.  Credits do not expire and can be used towards any service or product at PRG.
